See why web and radio marketing together are a dynamic duo

Few could have envisioned in the early 20th century the impact commercial radio would have on daily life. During the first Golden Age of radio in the 1930s and 40s, entire families gathered around large sets.

Through early radio news and entertainment, millions were introduced to "Theater of the Mind". Sounds from far away places captured our collective imagination and invited us to conjure our own visual imagery. Broadcasts from national radio networks commanded huge audience shares until the 50s when television beamed pictures to living rooms and swept up mass audiences with them.

Some suggested then that radio would fade to a secondary medium. It hasn't happened.

Certainly much has changed  consumers have more options and spend less time at home. Satellite and cable have fragmented TV audiences. Newspaper circulation is in free fall.
Advertisers must target their message and make a lasting impression on an increasingly distracted audience.

Just as TV didn't kill radio, neither has the worldwide web.  Radio adapted to a new media landscape.

Both "terrestrial" and web streamed audio content show incredible resiliency. It's portable, hands free, generally fee free, and local.

This site provides current and potential advertisers a glimpse of "radio and more".
